The Norwegian Transparency Act

The Norwegian Transparency Act came into effect on July 1, 2022, in Norway. This act focuses on promoting transparency in enterprises' efforts related to fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.

Stord International AS is dedicated to conducting due diligence assessments within our own operations and across our supply chain. Our aim is to ensure that fundamental human rights are respected and that decent working conditions are maintained throughout the production of goods and services. We will initiate a survey of our suppliers in order to map out how they are following up on human rights and working conditions. If our assessments indicate potential human rights violations or risks, we are committed to taking appropriate measures to prevent or minimize these issues. Additionally, we will provide explanations of how we are addressing any negative outcomes or potential consequences.

Stord International's commitment also involves ongoing efforts to improve working conditions and reduce any negative impacts on individuals, society, and the environment. We believe that collaborative actions can bring about positive changes and contribute to a more sustainable future.
